ENGLISH FIELD CAMERA. 1909-1912. Complex dating: This camera has triple extension and a spring back. Triple extension was supplied only to special order on the original 1906 to 1908 'Special Ruby', a cheaper version of the 'Ruby' but without the spring back. By the time they got to the 1908 version, it had been improved to include the spring back, 'Omniflex' front strutting arrangement and triple extension as standard. The rack and pinion rising front was added in 1909, so this example dates to between 1909 and 1912 when production of this model ceased.
