Peeling and Van Neck | VN | Other | 9 X 12cm Plate

PRESS CAMERA. 1932. A strut-folding type camera with focal plane shutter and interchangeable lenses. This one is fitted with a wide-angle lens in a recessed panel. Van Neck were established in 1897, were joined by R.E. Peeling in c1919, and were still trading in the 1950s when the VN camera was still available, though they were planning a front shutter camera which never went beyond the prototype stage.
