FOLDING CAMERA. 1914. QUARTER PLATE SIZE ROLL FILM. Introduced to compete with the new-fangled roll film cameras that were already being sold by Butcher and Kodak, but of superior quality and using better materials and finish than theirs, such as bright nickel plating and real leather, on a body still made of wood. This example has the basic T-P Everset shutter and anonymous f11 lens. More expensive options were available. It retained rack and pinion rising front and lever locking cross front. An optional plate back, available as an accessory, could be fitted by sliding off the film back.
