City Sale & Exchange | Field Camera | English | Half Plate

CITY SALE & EXCHANGE. FIELD CAMERA. 1890. City Sale & Exchange, with several branches in the London area, using the trade name 'Salex', were retailers, not manufacturers. They are therefore unlikely to have had much to do with the making of this camera, but it is catalogued as theirs because it bears only their nameplate. It looks like a George Hare product, but there is no way of establishing whether it is or not.
